Hope can also be invested with one arcane spell per spell level. To do this, an arcane caster sacrifices one of their daily spell slots and cannot use that spell slot for anything while it is invested in Hope. A spellcaster must be able to cast the spell they intend to invest into Hope. Hope in turn can then cast that spell one time per day. At the spellcaster's option, they can invest further spell slots into Hope, thereby increasing the number of times per day that Hope can cast the initially invested spell.
In addition to the above, Hope is Always able to cast the Spell Open Mind 1 time per day.
Hope was created many centuries ago by the world's first Archmage, Emil Enchantrisen. She has been seen to move throughout the world in different hands on many occasions, usually when a dire set of circumstances arises. Her current whereabouts are unknown, her last known wielder was an Elf named Sharon that disappeared around 700 years prior to the 1st Dragon Flight.
Hope is both boon and doom, as her primary concern is the defense of Good Arcane Spellcasters. If a situation arises in which she feels the life of that spellcaster is in danger, regardless of that spellcaster's wishes, she will teleport them away to safety. Note that she is unconcerned with the safety of other creatures, including the wielder's party members, and as a result has no qualms leaving the rest of the party to die.
