Divine meddling and the web

So, a few weeks ago I proposed to Ty that we create a set of google docs so that we can get set down the goals and mechanitions of our divine counter-selves. Originally my thought was to have Josh oversee the entire thing, but then it occurs to me that his ability to access the web and or us could be hampered at a moments notices by work. This obviously isn't his fault, and isn't at all meant as a slight against him, just an expression of the facts. That being said, another candidate needs to be considered. I could oversee it myself, but I don't want to simply dictate these sorts of things, so I'll open this topic up for candidates.

To understand what you are voting on, let me explain. The concept here is to have a set of google docs that have their access restricted to 2 individuals. One, is the person in charge of the divine being, the other is the overseer. These docs would contain specific goals and/or plans that that deity has in motion. This would include things like deals made with other deities, running instructions to their respective churches, and any other information of this sort. Details like names, locations, and precautions should be included. As this information is posted to the documents, it becomes the duty of the overseer to diseminate this information and relate it to the interactions of any other relavent deities.

It is important that the overseer, whoever it ends up being, understands the mechanics of divinity as defined by deities and demigods, specifically divine remote sensing and portfolio sense. They would also require a strong grasp of both the geography of the 3 worlds, and the conentrations of faiths.

If you believe yourself to possess the necessary skills and time for this task, reply with your intent below. I will then on next Friday change this post into a vote and then we'll see who is willing to take up this mantle.

Goals:
Goals are the far reaching plots your divine charactor is currently working on. I have divided them into 4 catagories. Simply list them in the length of estimated time, or in the indeterminable catagory if time is not a factor, or a factor you cannot estimate.
Far reaching Goals: (+1000 year goals)

Standings:
Standings represent the general attitude of your faith in relation to another faith. If your faith has a notably different relationship with a specific sect (think domains) of another faith note that here as well.

lol, well, at this point I was going to put up a vote, however that seems redundant now. So instead, I've created the individual documents and set permissions to all of you, as appropriate. If for some reason your google account email is different then the one provided here, then please inform me so with the correct address.

I'd like to make a point here as well; You will get from this what you put into it. Some of the information is critical, such as who is the ranking high priest of your faith. Or, if you want to be more specific, who is the ranking high priest within a domain you control.

In what settlements are your open churches located? How about hidden churches in areas that would not necessarily tolerate your faith?

These answers will let any DM know the age old question...."Is there a temple to .... here?" While I may not be present when the question is asked, I'm always just a text away.

If you choose to ignore these things, then I will be forced to make them for you...And you may very well not like the results. That isn't actually meant as a threat, it's really just a statement of fact. We all have this stuff rattling around in our heads, but that doesn't necessarily mean that we've expressed it effectively to each other.

Just some thoughts to mull over folks.

I would like to add that it is unlikely that most Faith's will have a unified hierarchy the three worlds over. Unless the faith has easy access to some means of near instantaneous communication, thinking of these churches as world wide institutions is probably the wrong way to go. It's more likely that the reigning high priest within an area like the confederacy not only has no power over churches on other continents or worlds, but likely doesn't even know they exist. The churches of Sardinal and to a lesser degree Dardanis, might be more like world wide organizations, as they have the ley line grids to establish constant communication.

Also, Chosen obviously break this mold. Chosen are generally well known within their faith on all the worlds.

Consider how different regions would develop in different areas of the three worlds, considering climate, proximity to danger, proximity to other races and any other factor you can think of when designing church and assigning ranks.
