Umbral Spell[Metamagic,Faith]
You have learned to add Katdoral's darkness to your spells.
Prerequisites: Must Worship Katdoral. Must be taught by someone that has this feat.
Benefit: A Spell you modify with this feat gains the Darkness descriptor. Furthermore, if the spell does damage, half that damage (Rounded down) results from untyped Darkness damage and cant be reduced by resistance or immunity to energy-based attacks. For Example, is an Umbral Lightning Bolt cast by a 7th level wizard deals 24 points of damage, 12 points would be electricity damage and the other 12 points would be untyped Darkness damage. Spells modified by this feat look like a darker version of their normal appearance. This feat cannot be applied to any spell with the Light Descriptor.
An Umbral Spell uses up a spell slot one level higher than the spell's actual level.
