Title/Profession: Interim Councilmen, Lord Protector of Missreas
Race: Human

Bio:
Dreven Lodizal’s regency came at the behest of Vaspasian Corronaught , one of the Interim Council Chair’s most trusted enforcers. His foul temper ignites at the slightest insinuation of dereliction of duty, disloyalty, or discontent. His strict unforgiving manner has put him somewhat at odds with the people of Missreas, and is seen as the lapdog of Vaspasian Corronaught by the Council of Twelve.
Founding:
Missreas initially came to prominence in the 4th Age, after the fall of Irrydrill, and destruction of Clearwater. Its location on the confluence of the Clearwater river and the mighty Elyriana river made it a natural location for trade. Goods could be sent in all cardinal directions, and with Clearwaters outlet to the great divide, aloud for timely transport to Hearthome, the Inland Sea, and all points abroad.
The peoples of the sundered city of Clearwater gravitated toward Missreas and settled. Here the refugees began anew, farmers cultivated crops, tradesmen fashioned all manner of sundry, and merchants traded in goods, supplies, and foodstuffs that would reach all across the Confederacy.
It wasn't long before Missreas was a thriving metropolis, the city’s evolution was graceful, steady purposeful growth managed by some of the most talented civil engineers. Amazing feats of architectural engineering that allowed for the first storied buildings and housing complexes to give rise. This lead to rapid urbanization within the bustling trade hub. No city in the Confederacy is its population is so densely distributed as it is in Missreas.
Astonishingly enough Missreas’ true claim to fame is its lufundia’s, an awe inspiringly huge agricultural complex of wheat, corn, and flax plantations. Millions upon millions of bushels of grain produced each season to be shipped abroad to feed and clothe Confederate citizens.
Current:
Missreas is the Kingdom which boasts the highest population in all the confederacy, largely human with a light mix of half-elf, elf, and dwarf. Missreas has positioned itself well within the Confederacy. Its role as the largest provider of foodstuffs has made many of the Kingdoms reliant upon Missreas for feeding their citizenry. With this and the immense tax revenues derived from its huge population make Missreas influence on the Council of Twelve palpable.
Recently, After the investigation of Lord Commander Liam Eventide’s acts of treason and conspiracy it was King Hershem Eventide of Missreas who was most implicated by the trove of evidence found at Eventide’s estate, surpassing that of even Eventide’s and other co-conspirators alleged crimes. The evidence was so damning that Hershem and Liam were tried by tribunal and put to death only days after their trial. Hershem’s family narrowly escaped persecution and has absconded to the countryside, the family has been deemed enemies of the state and warrants for their capture or death have been issued.
By executive order Vaspiasan Corronaught Interim Chair of the Council of Twelve, and Lord Commander of the Confederate Military has named his close ally and enforcer Dreven Lodizal Lord Protector of the Kingdom of Missreas, and Interim Councilman. Until the proper heirs of Missreas are in-stated. Recent findings have lent credibility to the assertions made by Count Reneven Drunmore that his claim to the throne of Missreas is irrefutable, and is awaiting unanimous decision of the Council of Twelve to crown him.
More recently, sweeping discontent plagues Missreas as the common citizenry respond to Lord Protector Lodizal’s flair for over compensation in stifling political dissenters and crushing even peaceful protests. He even went as far to dispatch riders to burn out the homes of commoners who whisper of discontent. Since he has enacted martial law and outlawed weapons, magic and assembly of more than three people at any given time . Any caught breaking these rules is met with swift and brutal reprisal.
Several units of the Hearthonian Army have been sent in to keep the peace and enforce Lodizal’s mandates.. By and large this has stymied the populations thirst for freedoms as they cower in their homes.
Count Reneven Drunmore has been vocal in his opposition to these mandates and has dispatched diplomats to the Council of Twelve to lobby for decisiveness in their deliberations on the proceedings of his coronation so that “ he may begin the healing process and the return of normalcy during these trying times”. The people have begun to silently clamor for Count Drunmore intercession to deliver them from Lodizal’s thumb.
