Heir to Perfection Dwarf
Prerequisites: Must be a Dwarf, this feat must be taken at 1st level.
Benefit: Your birthright is a small portion of the perfection of the Mother and Father of the Dwarven Race.
Choose one of the following:
Mountain Dwarf: You are a reflection of the Dwarven love for the high places of the world. You have a natural love for the peak, passes, and valleys of mountainous regions. You gain Cold Resist: 5, a +1 perfection bonus with all Axes, and a +2 perfection bonus to Climb, Survival, and Knowledge: Nature. You also gain 1d4 inches to height and 1d6 pounds per inch gained in weight and each of your age categories is 50% longer than normal. Mountain Dwarves are slightly taller and heavier than normal dwarves and seldom have any birthmarks or blemishes, but otherwise appear as normal dwarves.
Steel Dwarf: You are the embodiment of the Dwarven love for what lies beneath the mountains. You are at home in caverns and tunnels and have a natural talent at the forge. You gain Fire Resist: 5, a +1 perfection bonus with all hammers, and a +2 perfection bonus to Knowledge: Architecture and Engineering, and their stonecunning ability increases to +4. Each of their age categories is 50% longer than normal. Steel dwarves often have metallic coloration to their hair or eyes.
Shield Dwarf: You are a scion of dwarven wisdom and faith. You gain a +2 racial bonus to WIS and a +1 caster level to the first Divine Casting class you take a level in. Your age categories are 50% longer than normal. Shield Dwarves are always born with a metallic birthmark, sometimes more than one. These birthmarks are often runic looking, though some are shaped more like animal. Rarely, these birthmarks look like a holy symbol of one of the gods favored by dwarves.
