The item creation feats have been revised to reflect the idea that Magical Items should be created based on how they function rather than the physical form the items takes when it is completed.
Craft Spell Completion Item:
Prerequisite: CL1
Spell completion items are single us items. To use a spell completion item, the spell inscribed onto it must be on your class spell list.
Format: Most spell completion items are scrolls. They can take many forms however, such as carved bone shards or inscribed stones or gems. When you choose this feat, choose your primary format. Crafting in a different format incurs a 10% increase in gold and experience costs.
Special:
Wizards gain this feat at 1st level and must choose "Scrolls" as their format.
Craft Disposable Item:
Prerequisite: CL3
Disposable items are single use magic items usable by anyone.
Format:
Disposable items are normally in the form of potions. They could also be breakable marbles, small edible wafers, or any other item that can be eaten or easily broken. When you first take this feat, choose the format you are trained in. Creating items in another format incurs a 10% increase in gold and exp costs.
Craft Spell Trigger Item:
Prerequisite: CL 5
A spell trigger item is a charged item. When first created, they have 50 charges. A spell trigger item carries one spell, and to use it, that spell must be on your class spell list. A spell trigger item can only hold a spell of up to 4th level.
Format
Traditionally, spell trigger items are wands. They could be almost anything the crafter desires, however. When you first take this feat, choose the format you were trained in, Creating one in any other format incurs a 10% increase in gold and exp costs.
Craft Attuning Trigger Item:
Prerequisite: CL 12
Attuning trigger items are more powerful versions of Spell Trigger items. They can hold multiple spells and spells up to 9th level. Attuning trigger items use the caster levels and DC's of the crafter, or of the individual using them, whichever is higher. To use the spells in an Attuning Trigger item, the spell must be present on your class spell list. Attuning items are charged, starting with 50 charges when created.
