The Dawn Dragon, The Sun King
Illum De'Marco is a devastatingly handsome scion of House De'Marco. He bears the anomalous crimson hair distinctive to the De'Marco bloodline worn in a roman style cut. His eyes are deep and clear emerald green. He is a little above average height and is of a lean build. Despite being more than 500 years old he looks to be in his early 20's. Illum customarily wears a warm, open smile that matches his generous disposition. He wear reds and gold leafweave armor and carries a beautiful aelium and gold spear. When angered rose gold light begins to stream from behind his eyes and even from under his skin.
A lifelong student of warfare and military strategy, Illum, his wife Liira, his father Eban, and their friend McGunnroy led the forces of the Hearthome Confederacy to victory over Storming Mountains barbarian hordes during the Rage War of the early 5th age. Afterward, they reformed the crumbling confederacy into the Kingdom of Iryidria. They also orchestrated the Irydrian-UDK alliance that kept the Empire of Lark from invading the weakened Confederacy and continues to keep the Empire from expanding its borders to this day. Finally, and most notably, Illum and his companions defeated an Avatar of the Tyrant God Cyian and destroyed the vile City of Sorrows that Lark used to grow its magical arsenal.

After destroying the Avatar, Illum commissioned the reenchantment of the spear.
