Replaces: Summon Familiar
Benefit: Instead of taking a familiar, you forge a powerful bond to a staff. This staff must be of masterwork quality and may not be magical at the time of bonding, but can be further enchanted later. You and the staff gain abilities based on you wizard level + any level that normally improves the familiar ability

Cantrips: The staff is imbued with two cantrips of the wielders choice, one that can be used 3x/day and one that can used 1x/day.
Deliver Touch spells: The staff can be used to deliver touch spells. The wielder may choose to deal the staffs damage in addition to the spell by making a successful melee attack instead of a touch attack.
Enchanted: The Staff becomes a +1 weapon
Remote Viewing: The staff's master may concentrate and view the staffs immediate surroundings as though looking through the finial. THis effect is identical to Clairvoyance except it lasts as long as the master concentrates and has an infinite range as long as both master and staff are on the same plane.
Vital Transfer: The Master may forego his natural healing for the evening and mend her staff instead. The staff regains a number of hit points equal to its masters level. The Heal skill cannot increase this amount.
Enchanted: The Staff becomes a +2 weapon
Perfect Location: By concentrating for a full round the master knows the precise direction and distance between him and his staff.
Special Enchantment: The staff gains one of the following special abilities. Defending, merciful, shocking, Flaming, Icy, Lucky, or Guardian.
Return: The master can summon his staff to his hand as a standard action as long it is on the same plane. The staff simply appears in its owners hand. This is a conjurartion (Teleportation) effect.
