The Moon Prestige Domain
The Moon Prestige Domain can be taken by a character whenever a prestige class offers a non-specific bonus domain, when a prestige class specifically offers The Moon domain, or with the Bonus Domain Epic Feat. With GM permission, a Concordant Mystic may take the Moon Prestige Domain at 1st level. Other circumstances by GM approval.
When taking the Moon Prestige Domain you must choose one of the nine moons of Severall. You must choose either the moon that matches your alignment or the moon that your Deity resides on.
Granted Power: Aura of (Name of Moon): You radiate an aura that shields you from the attacks of lycanthropes. In order to attack you, any natural or afflicted lycanthrope must first succeed on a will save with a DC of 10 + half your cleric level + half your levels in the class that gave you this domain + wisdom mod. On a successful save the lycanthrope may attack you normally and need not save again against your aura for 24 hours. On a failed save the lycanthrope cannot finish his attack on you and loses that attack. He may finish his actions for the round but must choose another target for any effect that requires an attack roll or is targeted. Like the Sanctuary spell, if the cleric attacks a lycanthrope affected by his Aura, the effect is broken and the lycanthrope can then attack the cleric normally.
In addition, whenever you are outside and your moon is visible in the sky overhead you may spontaneously lose prepared divine spells for spells on the moon domain of equal or higher level just as a good cleric does with cure spells.
Finally, when you choose this domain, the descriptors of the spells on its list change somewhat based on the moon you have chosen. For those that choose a moon in the Triune of Hope (Theluna, Vaeluna, Syrluna) all of the spells on the domain gain the Light Descriptor. For those choose a moon in the Triune of Despair (Katrunar, Chalrunar, Sangrunar) all of the spells on the domain gain the Darkness Descriptor (those that have the light descriptor normally lose it). Those that choose a moon in the Triune of Balance (Sarilune, Sladrune, Machrune) must choose either the light or Darkness Descriptors for their spell list. Once this choice is made, it cannot be changed. The effects of the spells take on the color of your chosen moon.
