Sardinal's Archangels:
Ellorien, The Archangel of Death Other Titles: Archangel of Reaping, Grimwing
Ellorien was once a mortal drow, a cleric of Sardinal in the Empire of Lark. Throughout his career, he was a firm ally and friend of both the Doth'Dakar brothers and the Unizar Brothers, and played a key role in both families road to power. During the ascension of Sierra Linenbright, Ellorien was murdered to prevent the breaking of an infernal contract between himself and the two afore mentioned families. After his death, he was informed by Sardinal that he had been killed by the great Katdoral, himself. Sardinal transformed Ellorien into his Archangel of Death as a reward for his faithful service.
Like all members of a gods Divine Host, Ellorien is now an outsider devoted wholly to Sardinal. He has none of his previous class levels or abilities, but all of his memories. Though he would never abuse his power as the Archangel of Death to get revenge on Katdoral or his former allies, he does take more pleasure in his duties when he is called to reap souls within the Empire of Lark.
Ellorien appears as a six or 12 foot tall humanoid figure, hooded and robed in charcoal gray. His robes often appear somewhat tattered, though never dirty. Those few that have seen his face from beneath his deep cowl see only golden light, yet no light steams from the hood. He has massive skeletal wings, and where flesh and feather should be, tattered shadows like hundreds of shreadds of black cloth flutter instead. He carries a rusty hand sickle called Reaper's Caress, the last remnant of Sardinal's former Angel of Death.
To aid him in his duties, Ellorien controls a Garrison of 2000 Hound Archons, 2000 Lantern Archons (with 2 levels of Fighter (Ranged Feats Normally), 1000 Justice Archons, 1000 Zelehut Inevitables, 500 Astral Deva's, 500 Kolyarut Inevitables, 250 marut Inevitables, 250 Throne Archons, and 20 Concordant Killers (with 4 levels). Each of these outsiders is a True Neutral version of the base creature forged from the willing souls of dead faithful of Sardinal. Their appearance is altered to more closely fit Sardinal's preferences. Greys and Golds being common color themes.

Dogma/Church:
Ancient Sardinal, one of the three Creator Gods of Severall, is an enigmatic God seldom seen or heard from directly by mortals and his Portfolio is largely esoteric in nature. Once, when Sardinal commanded the forces of the leylines, his Church was a unified organization, the largest in Severall's history. Since relinquishing control of the leylines to Dardanis his church has become more fractured and varied, though most do still echo the teachings and structure of their past solidarity.
The Church of Sardinal is home to three major branches, called the Three Seminaries. The Seminary Equilibrium concerns itself with largely with Sardinal's role as the Lord of Balance. In this they preach that balance is both fact and necessity. For each act of good, somewhere there is countering act of evil, for every loyal act a corresponding treachery. They inspire their followers to lead lives of moderation and to seek balance within themselves and their community. Members of the Seminary Equilibrium always have the balance domain but can have any other of Sardinal's domains. The one place in which they show no need for balance is in enforcing Sardinal's Extraplanar Edict. They are the fervent enemies of uncontrolled outsiders on the material plane. Such beings are destroyed or banished whenever possible, regardless of alignment.
The Seminary Terminus devotes itself to Sardinal's role as the Lord of the Dead. Like Sardinal himself, they preach that life without faith leads to death and fate unknowable....or worse. Only through devotion to Severall's deities, Sardinal above all others, can one achieve life eternal in paradise. In communities the three worlds over Sardinals Seminary Terminus serve as morticians and coroners, cryptkeepers and gravediggers, as well the voice of wise counsel for the bereaved. They preach Sardinal's truth that every soul has a path, each choice moves you down it or steps you away from it and offer wisdom and spellcraft to those seeking to know more about their journey. As the primary Seminary for some of the few priests in the world that can ressurect the dead without an extraordinary sacrifice, members of this Seminary are welcome in almost every community yet feared for their terrifying control over the powers of death. Clerics of this seminary always have the Death or Fate domain. While they can choose any other of Sardinals domains as their second, having both is far and away the most common.
The Seminary Temporis is the enigmatic and erudite branch of Sardinal's church that devotes itself to his role as Father Time and Lord of Knowledge. Temporians can be found in virtually every society acting as historians, carefully recording the events around them. They preach Sardinal's truth that the present is built from the past, the future is built from the present. Great believers in logic, the clergy of the Seminary Temporis teach and preach Cause and Effect, Rationality, and Mathematics. They aid their flocks by using their time piercing magics in combination with formal, informal, symbolic, and mathematical logic to generate advice and wisdom based on orders of approximation. The wisest and most powerful often formulate grand mathematical formulations blended with oracular mysteries to form prophetic predications of the direction of their regions or the worlds. They compete with each other to to see whose prophecies turn out most accurate. Clerics of the Seminary Temporis always have the Time domain, with Knowledge being the most common second.
Across Three Worlds and centuries of time, Sardinal's once singular church has diversified and fractured. The Three Seminaries above represent the core of the old order, but numerous smaller branches, deviations, and denominations have sprung up that stray from these in any number of ways. Certain things will remain true throughout, however. Sardinal's faithful disdain the presence of uncontrolled outsiders in the material plane and work against those that would grant such creatures unfettered access to the mortal worlds. Death for those lacking faith and conviction is a mystery best avoided. Knowledge must always be protected lest it be lost. No effect exists without a cause, and every force in the universe must have an opposite, any force lacking one will always end up creating it's own opponent. Past those cardinal edicts, the moral and ethical range that exists within Sardinals faith allows for a virtually limitless outgrowth of variance on these themes.
