Half-elves
Humans are often entranced with elven beauty and grace. Human passions and energy are often equally attractive to elves. Unions between these two races occur with some frequency and often leave behind a living legacy...the Half-elf.
Half-elves are personable creatures that get along naturally with most people. They combine many of the best characteristics of both races. Half-Elf height ranges from about 4'10" to 5'10" and they generally weigh between 100 - 180 lbs. Half-elf men tend to be slightly taller and heavier than women, on average.
Half-elf skin and hair can be of any color and tone available to both normal elves and humans. Half-elves have little to no body hair and only about %50 of males can grow facial hair. Their eyes are often slightly almond shaped and large. They can also be of any color available to normal humans and elves. It is not uncommon for half-elves to have two different colored eyes.
Half-elf childhoods can be a confusing time for them, for they either quickly out grow elven friends or are left behind by human friends growing up much faster than they. However, most half-elven children outgrow any awkwardness caused by their dual heritage and mature into charming adults.
Relations
Half-elves get along well with most races. Humans and Elves get along, for the most part, and half-elves enjoy a special place as the melding point between these two races. Most humans find Half-elves beautiful and charming. Elves find them exuberant, blending the best of elven nature with the energy and passion of Humans.
Friendship between half-elves and dwarves are also common, provided they are of similar moral alignments.
Half-elves and Drow are inevitably the exception. Drow find the concept of mingling races repulsive. Half-elves are worse than either elves of humans to the typical Drow.
Alignment
Any, though a strong percentage are Chaotic, Good, or Chaotic Good.
Language:
Half-elves have no language of their own.

+2 Charisma, - 2 Constitution Half-Elves are not as hale and sturdy as their human heritage, but they combine much of what is beautiful and charming of both races.
Half-elves choose one skill at first level and that skill is always a class skill for them, regardless of class. They also receive a +2 racial bonus in that skill. Half-elves gain a small amount of their human parents versatility.
Automatic Languages: All half-elves start with both Human and Elven.
Elf Blood: For all effects related to race, a half-elf is considered an Elf. half-elves are just as vulnerable to special effects that target elves as their elven parents and they can use magic items and spells that are only usable by elves. Hal-elves qualify for any feat that has "elf" as a racial requirement except the Heir to Perfection Feats. Half-elves cannot choose any Heir to Perfection Feats.
