I thought this might be helpful for people to understand how the regency works. All of these values have been drawn entirely from the spreadsheet used in our game.

Trade Routes
Adjacent Province +1500
+500 per each additional province a Trade Route Passes through
Where a trade route terminates, that province also recieves a benefit of +20% of the total routes' worth as income.
