Aelium Blooded (Bloodline)
You carry within you the blood of Kaelis, a long dead Arcanist whose blood has spread over the passing epochs into dozens of races and creatures. Your bloodline carries a rare connection to Aelium that allows you to use the magical metal in powerful ways.
Benefit: You may, with a full round action, absorb an ounce of Aelium into your blood and use it to temporarily boost your own abilities. You can only hold a single ounce of Aelium within you at once. This Aelium has one of two effects.
First you may use it to give yourself 5 floating +1 bonuses that can be applied separately or together in any combination to any roll you wish. Attacks, Saves, Damage Rolls, Caster Level Checks, Spell Effects, or Ability Checks can be affected. The bonuses remain within you until used and more Aelium cannot be absorbed until all of the previous ounce has been used.
Alternatively, you can turn the exact effects over to the GM to boost your abilities or the results of actions during role-play, subject to GM's approval.
Special: Taking this feat also grants you the ability to claim one of the Aelium Legacy artifacts and bond it to you. Any person with this feat may only bond a single Aelium Legacy item to themselves within their lifetime. Once the legacy item bonds to a person, it is theirs until it is bound to another at which point it is lost to the first person forever. Gm approval is suggested before taking this feat.
